This is the opening episode for my "alternate season five" (not to be confused with BSW alternate season four...). This season is taking place after the fourth season finale episode, and has nothing to do with my other season five opener TOW all the mess or to my "woodpecker" scripts.Enjoy, and please any feedback to Me. Courteney Cox's voice: Previously on "Friends"....

(We see shots from the last episode, of Joey and Chandler's "tour" in London, Joey and the hat, all the screw ups that happen on the way at the altar, Monica showing Emily the re decorated church, the reahrsel dinner, Chandler's toast, Chandler and Monica comforting each other, after they sleep together, Rachel fighting to board the plane, and a couple of other shots, and at the end the last scene where Ross accidently say Rachel's name)

[Scene: The church, same scene. everybody are looking at each other, Joey and Chandler exchange looks with Monica, the parents, just about everybody).

Priest: Shall I go on?

Emily: I....I don't know. I'm not sure (looks forward at her parents, then at Ross)

Ross: I'm sorry, I'm sorry Emily, please it was an honest mistake!

Emily: Ross...

Ross: Em, I love you...more then anything (Cut to Rachel looking hurt. back to Ross and Emily). Please? I want to spend my life with you.

Emily: Well (looks at her parents who signle "go ahead")...Okay. you can go on.

Priest: Well, we're going to have to repeat everything, even Emily's vows. let's start with Ross to make sure he gets it right this time. Ross repeat after me. I Ross Geller

Ross: I, Ross Geller...

Priest: Take thee Emily

Ross: Take thee Emily

Priest: To be my lawful wedded wife

Ross: To be my lawfel wedded wife

Priest: Till death do us apart {Anat's note: I know there's more, but I'm cutting it a bit so you won't snore...)

Ross: Till death do us apart

(Monica, Chandler, Joey and The Gellers look at each other, smiling. Meanwhile a man (played by Hugh Grant) enters the church. he sits down. Emily spots him)

Priest: Now, Emily repeat after me. I Emily Waltham....

Emily: I, Emily Waltham...

Rachel: (pops up) Wait!

Priest: What next?

Emily: What is it Rachel?

Rachel: (walks over to Emily) Um...huh....your dress! yes, it's not straight (strokes it a couple of time) There you go...(quickly goes to her seat, emberassed)

Priest: As I was saying.... Take thee Ross

Emily: Take thee Colin Sorry, sorry Ross

(Ross looks at her. after a few seconds storms out of the church, slams the door)

Emily: Ross, wait!

(Emily storms after him, slams the door)

Colin: Emily, wait

(Colin storms after her, slams the door)

Rachel: (stands up) Hi, wait for me!!!

(Rachel runs off, slams the door)

(Chandler stands near the priest)

Chandler: Oh look it's the ex's union

(Everybody's still, nobody's laughing)

Chandler: (fed up) Oh, give me a break...

-Opening Credits-

(Scene: The church. everybody's a little shaken up of what happened. Chandler and Joey approach Monica, who's with her parents. Joey is on the cellular phone)

Joey: (on the phone) Yes, Phoebe that's pretty much what happened

(Cut To: Phoebe, in Monica and Rachel's appartment, dressed casually, eaten potato chips on the couch. the place, btw, is a mess...)

Phoebe: (on the phone, while munching chips) So, they all just slammed the door and left?

Joey: Yes, Phoebe I'll talk to you later okay?

(Cut To: NYC)

Phoebe: Sure, the duck sends his love. well I don't really know that, he could've just cursed you or something, but considering your both way depended, long time relationship I'd say its his love

(Cut To: London)

Joey: Okay ditto. bye Phoeebs (hungs up). (To the others)what will we do next?

Monica: Well, we don't know where they could be, and I'm sure they'll come back soon, so I say lets clear up this mess and get back to the hotel. for all we know they could be waiting for us there.

Jack: Mon here's right. Chandler and Joey, why don't you go and clear this place up okay?

(Chandler and Joey nod to agreement. Jack Geller goes with them. Emily's parents are out of sight)

Judy: Monica, did you have any idea about this?

Monica: I never even met Colin. but now that I have, I can understand why Emily went out with him

Judy: I mean your brother. why he said Rachel's name.

Monica: Well, mom, I always know that Ross loved her, and I always thought that Ross will marry Rachel, and we will be sister in laws. But after I've seen how they can't keep a relationship going, and I've seen that Ross is madly inlove with Emily, I don't know - maybe they weren't meant to be.

(Joey comes running)

Joey: Hi Mon, we need your help. the guests are getting pretty bored, so we promised them you would strip. do you mind?

(Monica rolls her eyes. then looks at her mom)

[Scene: Monica's hotel room. Joey, Chandler and Monica present. Joey is taking stuff from the mini bar, Monica is on the phone, and Chandler is with her.]

Monica: Dad, did you check at the reception? They didn't come in yet? Well I found Emily's parents, and they're pretty upset. no, they're saying that its our fault. dad, I'm just saying what he said. Okay, keep us posted

Chandler: Not a word from them yet?

Monica: None. this is so weird. I hope everything works out okay.

Chandler: Okay would mean Ross with Emily, Ross with Rachel or none of the above?

Monica: If you would've asked me a year ago, I would've said Ross and Rachel. but right now, I think Emily is great and the most appropriate for him.

Chandler: Well, I don't think he should be with anyone right now, since he's really messed up right now.

Joey: This is so good!

Chandler: What is?

Joey: This drink..I think it's called "orgasm".

Monica: Joey, put that down! we're gonna have to pay for that!!!

Joey: So? It's on your parents tab....! oh right.

Chandler: (anxious for Joey to leave) So, Um, Joe, where's...where's that bridesmaid..that you slept with?

Joey: What are you talking about? I didn't sleep with Monica. though I could arrange..(Cut off by Monica)

Monica: Not me you idiot! Felicity?

Joey: Oh, right. I totally forgot!!!I gotta go

Chandler: Have a good time!

(Joey exits the room in a hurry)

(Chandler and Monica start to kiss)

Chandler: Monica, I just have one question for you.

Monica: (kissing him) A question? Right now? You? what is it?

Chandler: (pause) How you 'doin?

(Monica smiles and they continue to make out)

[Scene: Monica's room. about two hours later. Chandler walks out of the bathroom, as Monica is finishing getting dressed. he's already dressed]

(A knock on the door)

Monica: (relaxed) Who is it?

Rachel: It's Rachel.

(Monica looks at Chandler to make sure he's ready, he nods "yes". btw, their hair is kinda messy and their clothes are in dissaray)

Monica opens the door

(Rachel enters, soaking wet)

Monica: Rachel, oh my god what happened? (hugging her) we were worried sick about you!

Rachel: Well, I ran as far as I could after that guy. I think he's Colin. we got to where Emily and Ross were, Ross seemed pretty upset, and Emily kept apologizing. anyway, I don't know how it turned out, it started raining, and it took me an hour to get a cab.

Chandler: What about that Colin guy? did he stay?

Rachel: No, he left somewhere and I didn't see him

Monica: Honey here dry off.(hands her a towel)

Rachel: Thanx. (pause, looks at both Chandler and Monica and notices their appearnce). What happened to you two?

Chandler (looks at Monica, starts to get a little stressed, but tries to remain as calm as possible. kinda at a loss for words) We....we...

Monica: We thought that we've seen prince Charles so we've chased him down the street...

Chandler: And we just got here

Rachel: Wait, if you just got here, then weren't you supposed to be wet?

Monica: Um...it was at the hotel. yeah, we've seen him down the street earlier, and then we saw that he was at Our hotel. isn't that wild? So we started chasing him at the hotel, but we didn't keep up with him and his body guards

Rachel: (Excited) Prince Charles right here at our hotel? Wait a minute, if he's in London, what's he doing in a hotel?

Chandler: Whata, what he's doing in a hotel? that's, that's a stupid question...

Rachel: Why?

Chandler: (cutted speech) Why?wwhy?(smiles) Why? tell her Mon why..!

Monica: Because...because, okay Rachel read some british tabloids for god sake! he's cheating on Camila!!!

Rachel: Really? Do you know with who?

Monica: I think it's Fergie...But I'm not sure

Rachel: Oh I love Fergie. but I don't like her fashion sense you know?

Monica & Chandler: (together): Don't we know it...

[Scene: A british coffee house. Ross and Emily are sitting there, as told by Rachel. they're talking. Ross is upset, and Emily is talking him through.]

Emily: Ross, honestly, it was a mistake. I was overwhelmed that, that Colin did come to the wedding, and...well that's it.

Ross: Look Emily, I don't know.

Emily: Don't know what? Ross, you've said Rachel's name instead of mine, and I forgave you! isn't that the same thing?

Ross: (tries to say it as in "obvious") Well, no....

Emily: Why not?

Ross: Okay...because, because...(gives up)okay, it's exactly the same thing.

Emily: You see?

Ross: Okay, let's forgive each other, shall we? I'm sorry and I forgive you.

Emily: (smiles) I'm sorry, and I forgive you too.

Ross: So, what, are we gonna like get married today, or is it kinda late for today..(cut off by Emily)

Emily: Ross, we're not going to get married. at least not now.

Ross: What do you mean? I thought we forgave each other!

Emily: We did, and now that I've got a job in New York, I can be with you at New York as your girlfriend, but we did this...decided about his way too soon...I don't wanna rush into this right away..and I just realised it..

Ross: (a little upset, but tries to play it off) so...okay, I get it. (pause) Is this about my hair?

[Cut to: Pickadily square (I think that's how they call it...hey, I've never been to London so I don't have a clue okay?) Chandler and Monica are there site seeing. actually, they're just walking around hand in hand.]

Monica: It's so beautiful here.

Chandler: I know. I love London.

Monica: Chandler, um, we haven't got the chance to talk about what happened...

Chandler: (quickly) Twice..(they smile)

Monica: What happened? How did this happen?

Chandler: Monica, I can offer you a lot of plain quips of mine, to tell you what happened. but I'm not gonna. You mean the world to me...and I'm glad it finally happened...

Monica: Finally? what do you mean finally?

Chandler: Well, considering the face I dreamed about being with you ever since Ross introduced us, I'd say I'm kinda glad..y'know - in a way

Monica: Chandler, I had no idea. why didn't you tell me?

Chandler: Because, I couldn't. At college I'd thought that I can't pick up on you, 'cause you're Ross' little sister and everything. then, after you moved in next door, and we all started to hang out, I didn't really care about Ross anymore, but then I figured that you're my best friend, and that you'll never see me in that light. and I was afraid to wreck things between us.

Monica: Chandler...(emotional) I don't know what to say.

Chandler: (gets in front of her, face to her) Say you'll do it. stay with me. with or without telling the others, I don't care. just, let's do it okay?

Monica: Chandler, I'd love to, but what about the others? What about Ross?

Chandler: I don't care about the others, and I don't care about Ross. We'll figure out what to do later, just...just stay with me. as my lover, not friend.

Monica: (pause). I will

(Chandler and Monica start to kiss)

(Cut to: Monica's hotel room. Rachel's there, packing her stuff into a suitcase. Ross enters)

Ross: Mon?

Rachel: (turns around) Monica's not here.

Ross: Hi Rach. (silence). Do you know where she is?

Rachel: She and Chandler went to buy something. y'know, I really think that these trip made them better friends, got them closer together y'know?

Ross: (not really paying attention to what she said) Yeah, well, we need to talk to. I've been trying to avoid that.

Rachel: Right...

Ross: Rach, I don't want you to think that because I said your name that...that means anything. I mean, I do care about you, and you're one of my close friends. but...we're not together anymore. I was happy that you came to my wedding, and I was so excited that I blared out your name. do you understand?

Rachel: (Upset, but hiding it) Yeah..yeah, no I understand!

Ross: Good.

(Pause)

Rachel: So, um, what happens next? did you talk to Emily?

Ross: Yes...we've decided that since Emily's got a job in NYC, and it's too soon to get married, that she'll be with me in NYC, and we're still gonna be together, but not as in married. not right now.

Rachel: Oh. that's...that's good! that's great!

Ross: I know you'd understand. come here (goes and hugs her. Rachel enjoys it too much.she doesn't let him go).

Ross: Um, Rach? It's a little too hard...

(Chandler and Monica enter)

Monica: Oh, god.

Chandler: It's true what they say. an abonded wedding to get people closer together!

Ross: No, I was just telling Rachel that although Emily and I are not getting married (Monica signs a comforting "no") no, it's okay, she's right. instead, we're gonna continue being together and just give us more time. not rushing into things Monica: That's great! congragulations!(goes to hug her brother, who by now got loose of Rachel).

Chandler: Good going man! (pats him on the back)

Monica: We'll see you later. Chandler and me are going to check out the "planet hollywood" here.

Rachel: Have fun!!!

Chandler: Bu-bye!

(Chandler and Monica exit)

[Scene: The next day. it's morning. we see Rachel on her (actually, Monica's) bed, asleep. Joey comes burging in]. Joey: Rachel! Rachel wake up! (shakes her)

Rachel:(sleepy) What? what's going on?

Joey: Wake up! we have a plane to catch in (looks at his watch) one hour!

Rachel: (still sleepy) So? (understands, jumps) What? Where are everybody?

Joey: Mr. and Mrs. Geller are downstairs packed and ready, Ross is in his room with Emily, they're getting ready, but I can't find Chandler and Monica!

Rachel: Okay, their not in neither of their rooms we know that...okay, check in the lobby and at the desk, and I'll go to Ross and Emily and think of something...

(Cut to: Ross and Emily's room. they're finishing packing)

Emily: All set.

Ross: Ditto. Maybe we should...(Cut off by Rachel storming into their room)

Rachel: Good, you're still here. I can't find Chandler and Monica!

Ross: What do you mean you can't find them? They're not in their rooms?

Rachel: Duh! What are we gonna do? Joey's checking the lobby and the desk.

Emily: Do you think they're already at the airport?

Rachel: No, Monica's stuff is at her room, unpacked!

Ross: My sister, an hour before leaving, not packed? it's like "the most weird stories"!

Rachel: Look, what do we do if we don't find them by then? Do we leave without them, or wait 'till the next flight?

Emily: Rachel darling, there's no proper reason to stay if we can't find them untill the flight. London's a big city, they could be anywhere. for all we know they could be at NY right now...plus, they're grownups, they can handle it. Wait a minute, does Chandler have Joey's cell phone?

Ross: I don't know, I'll go and ask him. and, BTW, I agree with Emily Rach. If we can't track them down, we leave without them.

(Cut to: The Lobby. Mr. and Mrs. Geller are sitting at the chairs, with their luggage. Joey is wandering around, with his camera, taking video of him)

Joey: (to the camera) (ala a teller from "Tales from the crypt")Okay, we're at the lobby of the hotel, thirty minutes before our flight leaves, everybody are set to go, but we have a problem - Chandler and Monica are missing. What do we do if we can't find them? I say leave -(emotional) I Love NYC!!!!!

(Emily, Ross and Rachel head down)

Emily: Guys, you know what? Maybe I should stay and you should go! I mean, I know London, and I'll probably find them. there's no reason for you to stay. Rachel: You know what? you're right Em. there's no use if we'll all stay here. Phoebe needs us. I gotta a job, and so does everybody else. except for Joey. (Joey walks behind them runs with the camera shooting himself)

Ross: Gee, Let me guess why...

Emily: Okay, then it's setteled. now go, you don't want to miss your flight! It leaves in about half hour! You can still make it!

Ross: Okay, well, Em, be careful. I love you!(kisses her)

Emily: I love you too!

Rachel: (looks fed up, like she did when Ross was with Julie) Okay, lets get this show on the road!!!!

(Cut to: The plane. Joey, Rachel and Ross, are sitting near each other. Rachel is on the middle, Joey on the left (aisle) and Ross on the right. Joey sees a western "tombstown" and is really excited. Ross and Rachel talk)

Ross: I'm not sure that we should've left Emily there.

Rachel: Ross, relax! Emily is an adult, she knows her way in London...everything's gonna be fine...(pats him on his leg).

(Cut to: Westminister abbey. Emily is there, looking for Chandler and Monica. A salesman with a desk (Richard Branson, same place as before) sees Emily, a possible victim)

Salesman:Ms.? oh ms. would you like a UK hat? whaddya say, it'll make you worth wild!!!

Emily: No thanx I'm a native. why don't you try to sell it to the couple over...(Stops when she sees that the couple making out is Monica and Chandler). Oh dear lord (runs to them)

(Cut to: Chandler and Monica)

Monica: Chandler, I'm telling you your watch isn't on time.

Chandler: Monica, last night we swtiched the watches one hour backwards. we should get back to the hotel, there's only thirty minutes to get ready. let's go.

(Emily runs off to them)

Chandler: Hi Emily. got tired of Ross already?

Emily: I should ask you that. the plane already left, I stayed here to find you and come with you. Where were you? We were looking all over for you!

Monica: We were here! what are you talking about, there's still thirty minutes till our flight leaves!

Chandler: Yeah, we switched the clocks an hour backwards!

Emily: That's tommorow night! (pause) Well, I saw why you lost your sense of time...(smiles)

Monica: You...you saw us?

Emily: Yes, and I think it's absolutely incredible! Y'know, the first time I met you, I thought that you were together.

Monica: Really? well, Emily you're the only one who knows, don't tell anyone will you? at least not yet. espicially not Ross.

Emily: Oh, I understand. ofcourse I won't. come on, there's a flight leaving in two hours.

Monica: Thanx (she hugs her).

(They all go together, Chandler and Monica hugged, Emily with them.)

-Closing credits-

(Ross, Rachel and Joey with the hat, enter the appartment. Phoebe is standing up, and the duck's behind her)

Joey: I missed you so much! come here!

("Days of our lives" theme starts to play.He starts running, we see it in slow motion, opening his arms. Phoebe smiles and opens her arms. He runs, gets really close to Phoebe, then goes and hugs the duck.)

Joey: (to the duck) I kept thinking about you!!!

(sees that Phoebe's upset)

Joey: Oh, you too!
