This is my second fanfic. I would love any kind of feedback. My favorite characters are
Monica and Chandler so I might favor them a little. This takes place right after my last
fanfic. Enjoy!!!
SCENE 1- Monica and Rachel’s apartment; everyone is there, Monica is cooking,
Chandler is sitting on the couch talking to Ross who was sitting next to him, Phoebe and
Rachel are taking grapes and trying to balance them on Joey’s head because Joey is
asleep on the chair.
Rachel: You know what, this is fun. [ she places a grape on Joey’s head ] [ Chandler
and Ross notice them]
Ross: Rach, that is sad.
Rachel: Yeah I know. [ She gets up and kicks Joey’s leg. Joey wakes up and shakes the
grapes off of himself]
Joey: What was going on?
Phoebe: Nothing little boy. Go back to bed. [ in a singing voice ] Go to bed Joey, right
now. Because if you don’t I will have a cow.
Chandler: Pheebs, just because it worked the last five times does not mean it will work
again [ interrupted by a snoring Joey ] Never mind.

SCENE 2- Exact same setting only Rachel is talking to Monica.
Rachel: So I said to myself, Rach, a vacation is what you need. So?
Monica: So what?
Rachel: Let’s go on a vacation. Come on Mon, me, you, Pheebs, …
Monica: No.
Rachel:… Chandler, Ro-
Monica: umm… okay sounds great, let’s go.
Rachel: OK. I get ya.
[Rachel goes to the living room]
Rachel: Hey guys Monica and I were talking about all of us going on a vacation.
Joey: yeah, baby
Monica: Do you guys want to go?
Chandler: I have work, and things to do… [ interrupted by Monica smiling at him]
Okay sure.
Monica: Thank you honey. [ they start to kiss]
Ross: Just because I know about you two does not mean I want to see it all the time.
Phoebe: Just let it go Ross. It is not that bad.
Ross: Yeah, we’ll it is not doing stuff with your sister
Phoebe: You see I do not have a sister so I do not know.
Ross: Fine, never mind. I mean… my best friend and my sister!!!
Rachel: Anyway, we could go to Florida, California, Hawaii, .- whoa how will we afford
this?
Monica: Good question.
Chandler: ummm…
Ross: Oh well. Guess we can not go. I have to get home. Bye.
Phoebe: Oh me too. Wait Ross I’ll walk home with you.
Everyone: BYE!!!
[they get up and leave]
Chandler: Where is Joey?
[we see Joey in the guys apartment scratching at lottery cards. He scratches one, sets it
down, and smiles. Then he looks again and screams]
COMMERCIAL BREAK
[he runs into Monica and Rachel’s apartment]
Joey: Hey guys, if a lottery card says win 1000 if you have three apples in a row, and I
have three apples in a row, what does that mean?
Rachel: Joey, you won!
Monica: Go Joey!
Chandler: Let me see that.
[ they all go and see it and chandler picks it up]
Chandler: Why folks, we are going on a vacation!
[ they smile as the scene changes to the next day and they are all at central perk. Joey
is sitting at the table, chandler and Monica are together on the couch, Rachel is standing
by Joey, phoebe is leaning against the chair, and Ross is in the chair]
Ross: That is sooo great. But why are we using Joey’s money? That is not fair.
Chandler: Because I bought the card. It was my card.
Ross: So … Where are we going?
Phoebe: We should let Joey pick where we go because he is sharing it with us.
Chandler: But…
Rachel: Yeah Joey should pick.
Chandler: Hey…
Ross: So Joey you are the lucky one.. where are we going - Anywhere you want to go.
Chandler: It is my card, mine mine mine m…[sees Monica staring at him with everyone
else] So Joe, where we going?
[ we see two ladies walk in]
Lady 1: Can we get some coffee here?
Gunther: Sure.
Lady 2: So how was Mexico?
Lady 1: Oh Charlie and I loved it. So cute, charming, very romantic, it was the best.
[back to friends]
Monica: Let’s go there.
Chandler: Yeah.
Joey: But I want to choose. I choose… there!!!
Phoebe: Yeah.
Ross: Fine.
Rachel: Okay.
Ross: Let’s leave soon though.
Rachel: Yeah. How about tomorrow?
Monica: Rachel, are you out of your mind? At least three days.
Phoebe: In three days we will be Mexican …yeah!
Chandler: Oh fun,fun,fun.
COMMERCIAL
[ TWO DAYS FROM THEN AT NIGHT AT THE GIRLS APARTMENT]
Monica: Oh my god. We have exactly 12 ½ more hours till we leave. I will never be ready.
[we see a shot of her bedroom with everything neatly packed]
[we see Rachel fast asleep in her bed with just some clothes thrown into a suitcase and a
bad of makeup on her bed]
[ back out to the living room where Monica is doing last minute cleanup]
Monica: OK, last time the guys were not ready so…
[ we see a scene of Monica sneaking into the guys place]
[she walks to Joey’s door and goes in]
[ five minutes later she walks out with two packed suitcases and sets them down]
[ she goes too chandlers room and walks in]
[ we see her in there and she finds a large suitcase packed and sitting at the foot of the
bed with a note that reads, " Monica, I knew you would do this so I packed it for
you. Chandler"]
[ she looks at him and walks over to him]
Monica: Well I am done packing, the guys are too, I can take a break for a second…
[she sits down, then lays down next to the sleeping chandler]
Monica: Finally…
[she closes her eyes and an arm goes around her]
[ she sits up and screams]
Monica: Oh Chandler you scared me…
[Chandler smiles]
[ Monica smiles back and starts to lean down but she sees his alarm clock that says 3:35
a.m.]
[ she frowns and gasps as she hops up]
Monica: only five more hours
Chandler: Mon…
ENDING CREDITS
[NEXT MORNING: EVERYONE IS AT THE AIRPORT. JOEY IS EATING CHOCOLATE CANDY, RACHEL IS
NEXT TO HIM, READING A FASHION MAGAZINE, ROSS IS IS TALKING TO CHANDLER WHO HAS MONICA
LEANING on him and HUGGING HIM]
Chandler: Hey Monica…
[she is asleep]
Chandler: MON
Chandler: Joey I told you not to get that chocolate by Monica’s bags…
Monica: What what chocolate?
