[First Scene: Joey is at the guys apartment and he is sitting drinking a beer, when the
phone rings . He picks it up and gasps,
Joey: You are taking away Joseph. No? What?
[looks very unhappy]
[he hangs up]
Joey: Come here Joseph.
[the little puppy walks out carrying a tape]
Joey: What is this?
[he sadly puts it in the tape player] [ it is baywatch]
Joey: Dude…

COMMERCIAL BREAK
Central Perk - everyone is there
Joey: I have to give Joseph away.
Chandler: Why?
Joey: Because the owners called and said to give them back Joseph. So I am giving them
back Joseph tomorrow at … noon.
Ross: It means lunch time, 12 o clock, noon.
Joey: Oh okay.
Monica: Well it peed on my shirt, in my shoe, and on my floor, it should go ba…
[everyone is staring]
Monica: I am going to miss him so much.
[she sits down by Chandler]
[girls apartment- monica is cleaning, rachel is watching tv]
Monica: Come on Rachel, it is cleaning day. You do your room, and I do the rest. Chop,
chop!
Rachel: Yeah well it is always cleaning day here.
Monica: I heard that. And I can do absoulutely nothing about it.
[rachel closes the door]
Monica: And now I am talking to myself.
[next scene: guys apartment]
Joey: I do not want to live with out Joseph.
Chandler: It is okay man.
Joey: No.
Ross: It will be alright.
Joey: Was it alright when Marcel left?
Huh? Was it
Chandler: He has a point there.
Ross: Marcel is differnet,,,, eh ,,, he,, umm…
I have to go get Ben now.
[joey and chandler smiled]
[scene- carol’s place- ross is walking out the door with Ben]
Carol: Hey, Ben got a new toy
Ross: Please say it is not a Barbie or Betsy Wetsy.
Carol: No it is a tonka truck
Ross: Yeah
Carol: Come here ben!
Ben: vroom vroom vroom
Ross: Come on Ben
[they walk out the door as Carol straightened out the apartment]

[girls apartment - everyone is there]
Joey: The owners are coming today for Joseph.
You all better say goodbye now.
Rachel: Bye Joseph. I will miss you.
Ross: Bye Joe.
Phoebe: Be good Joseph, see ya later.
Chandler: Stay out of trouble, and when you get taken to the vet, RUN AWAY!!!
Joey: Aren’t you gonna say bye Mon?
Monica: Yeah. Give him to me.
[holding the dog]
Listen Joseph, I know I have been mean to you. It is just I am Monica - I am mean to
animals that pee on my stuff. Sorry. Bye-by… ewwwww!!!
Chandler: Oh honey
Monica: ewwwwww…
Joey: Oh Monica.
Rachel: Eww…
Monica: Your dog peed on me!!! Ewww!!! Oh my god!!! Someone help me clean this and get
this icky shirt off.
[joey gets up]
NOT YOU!
[Chandler gets up and they walk to the bathroom]
[you hear the sink go on]
Joey: Joseph, Joseph, Joseph… Niiiice!!!

[Same scene: everyone is sitting thinking of Joseph]
PHOEBE THINKS OF WHEN SHE SHARED A VEGETABLE MEAL WITH HIM
ROSS THINKS OF WHEN HE HAD JOSEPH FOLLOW HIM EVERYWHERE
RACHEL THINKS OF WHEN SAHE HAD A PLAY FIGHT WITH JOSEPH OVER HER CASHMERE SWEATER AND HOW
THEY ENDED UP HAVING FUN AND PLAYING
CHANDLER THINKS OF WHEN HE WOKE UP WITH THE DOG ON HIM
MONICA THINKS OF HOW HE PEED ON HER AND HOW SHE PUT THE DOG ON CHANDLER
JOEY THINKS OF WHEN HE FOUND HIM, WHAT HAPPENED WITH JOESPH, CHICK, AND DUCK, AND WHEN HE
GOT THE PHONE CALL
[There is a knock on the door]
Man: Hi We are here for Joseph.
Ross: Wait its name actually is Joseph?
Woman: Yes.
Monica and Rachel smile
Joey: Bye Buddy See ya later. Bye!!!
[he gives them the dog]
WOMAN: You can all come over and visit whenever we live across the street.
Joey: Okay.
Everyone: BYE!!!
[THEY CLOSE THE DOOR]
[they all think about it]
phoebe and rachel start crying]
[joey cries] ross wipes his eyes]
chandler looks at monica and they both break into tears and hug]

Girls apartment- everyone is sitting watching the baywatch tape] [ baywatch ends and
chandler and monica step up quickly]
Monica: It is sooooo over.
Chandler: Could it be more over?
[we see the screen and it shows chandler in his pajamas holding the puppy]
[we hear monica talk]
Monica: Now chandler dance with Joseph
[chandler dances]
[monica sets the camera down] she dances with them ] the dog jumps down]
they all dance
EVERYONE: [LAUGHING]
Monica and Chandler go to Monicas room.
Chandler: at least they stopped the tape there
Monica: Really.
She smiles
Everyone: MONICA AND CHANDLER GET OUT HERE- EWW!!!
Monica and Chandler: [gasp]
