"The One Where Rachel Tells Ross"
Scene: Central Perk. Rachel and Monica are sitting on the couch as Phoebe comes in carrying three bags.
Phoebe: Hi!
Monica & Rachel: Hi Pheebs!
Phoebe: (sitting down in the armchair) So, I was just round at Frank and Alice's, and they said that you guys could have all the triplet's old clothes!
Monica: Really?
Rachel: That's so kind!
Phoebe: Right, these are for you (hands Rachel two bags), and these are for you (hands Monica the other bag).
Monica: Pheebs? How come I only get one bag?
Phoebe: Because they only had one boy, duh!
Rachel: But we don't know the sex of the babies yet Phoebe.
Phoebe: I do.
Monica: How?
Phoebe: Well, I had this dream where you had a boy and Rachel had a girl, and it was one of those dreams where you just know it's gonna come true, y'know?
[Monica and Rachel just look at her]

Scene: Central Perk, CFE.
Phoebe: Hey, have you realized that this is the second kid Ross is going to have where him and it's mom aren't together?
Rachel: (sarcastically) No, I hadn't realized that!
Monica: So aren't you guys ever gonna get back together?
Rachel: I don't know. I mean, it's been two years since the last time we broke up.
Phoebe: Then how come you're carrying his child?
Rachel: That doesn't count because we were drunk. Really drunk.
Monica: Well, do you want to get back together?
Rachel: Yes! I mean no! Oh, I don't know.
Phoebe: I think you do.
Rachel: Why? We'd probably just have another stupid fight and break up again.
Phoebe: Because you're lobsters! You're meant to be together! I mean, why did you go to London?
Rachel: To try and stop him getting married to Emily?
Phoebe: Exactly! And why do you think he told Emily when you were having dinner with us?
Rachel: I don't know. Because he wanted to be honest with her?
Phoebe: No, because he still loves you silly! We've just got to make him realize it.
Monica: How do we do that Pheebs?
Phoebe: Um...I know! Rachel should start going out with another guy!
Rachel: How does that make him realize that he loves me?
Phoebe: Well, if he sees you with another guy, he'll be jealous, right? So then he'll start thinking, "Hey, I wonder why I'm jealous? Oh, it must be because I'm still in love with her!".
Monica: So you're saying that Rachel should use another guy to get at Ross?
Phoebe: Yeah!
Rachel: Pheebs, I'm not sure I could do that, it's too mean.
Monica: Oh, I've got one! You know that box of stuff you kept from your relationship? You could leave it somewhere he's bound to see it, and then he'll look through it, and he'll remember all the good times you had together, and he'll want to get back together!
Rachel: Or, he'll remember all the bad times! But I think I'll try that anyway.
Phoebe: Yeah, it's better than my idea. Oh, but you know what? You should collect more stuff that will remind him of your relationship.
Monica: Yeah, like you could buy a single of that song he got them to play on the radio for you after he made that list.
Phoebe: Hey, do you have a diary?
Rachel: Yeah, why?
Phoebe: Do you write stuff about how you feel for him in it?
Rachel: I suppose.
Phoebe: OK, throw that in there too.
Scene: The girl's apartment. Rachel is sitting on the sofa reading a magazine, and Monica and Chandler are eating lunch at the table. Ross comes in with Ben.
Ross: Hi guys!
All: Hi!
Ross: Listen, could you guys look after Ben for a while? I need to go to work and I don't really want to take him with me.
All: Yeah, sure! etc.
Ross: Thanks you guys. (to Ben) Will you be a good boy?
Ben: OK daddy.
Ross: OK, bye then! (he leaves)
Monica: (getting up) OK Ben, what shall we do today?
Ben: Can we play hide and seek?
Monica: OK. Chandler, Rachel, get up, we're playing hide and seek with Ben.
Rachel: Mon, do we have to?
Monica: You'd better get used to it if you wanna be a good mom.
Rachel: (bored) OK.
Monica: So Ben, do you wanna hide or seek?
Ben: Seek.
Monica: OK! Chandler, Rachel, hide!
[Ben starts counting, Chandler hides behind the table, Rachel just drops of the couch so she's hidden behind it, and Monica climbs out the window to hide on the balcony]
Ben: Auntie Monica, what comes after fifteen?
Monica: (from balcony) Sixteen!
Ben: Sixteen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty. (he opens his eyes and sees Chandler behind the table)
Ben: I've found you Chandler!
Chandler: OK. (he gets up and goes back to eating his lunch)
[Ben walks around the room and sees Rachel]
Ben: I've found you too Rachel!
Rachel: What a clever boy you are! (she starts reading her magazine again)
[Ben looks around the rest of the apartment]
Ben: I can't find auntie Monica.
Rachel: Do you want us to help you look?
Ben: Yes please!
Rachel: OK. Chandler, will you help us look for Monica?
Chandler: OK. (he goes to the window) Oh look, there she is, on the balcony!
Rachel: Oh yeah! (lifts Ben up so he can see) Monica, we've found you!
[Monica gets up and tries to open the window to climb back in, but it won't open]
Monica: Um, Chandler, Rachel? The window won't open.
Rachel: Oh no, not again!
Monica: What do you mean, again?
Rachel: Nothing. But what are we gonna do now?
Chandler: We could ask the man upstairs if he'd be so kind as to dangle a stepladder out of his window.
Rachel: Maybe we should smash the window.
Monica: No! Go get Mr. Treager.
Rachel: OK, I'll see if I can find him. Chandler, you and Ben stay here.
Chandler: I have to look after Ben?
[Rachel looks at him]
Chandler: I mean, I have to look after Ben! Yippee!
[Rachel leaves]
Chandler: So Ben, you know how to play foosball?
COMMERCIAL BREAK

Scene: The girl's apartment, CFE. Chandler has moved the foosball table in, and he and Ben are standing on either side of it (Ben is on a chair).
Chandler: OK, it's basically the same as soccer, only you have to control the players with these sticks. You wanna play a game?
Ben: OK.
[they play a game; Ben wins]
Chandler: Wow, you're really good at this! Do you think you should get something for winning?
Ben: Yeah!
Chandler: OK, for your next birthday I'll get you a table like this.
Ben: Cool!
[Rachel and Mr. Treager enter]
Rachel: I'm back! What's that table doing in our apartment?
Chandler: I was teaching Ben how to play.
Rachel: Oh. OK then!
Mr. Treager: What did you want me for then?
Rachel: We can't get the window open and Monica's stuck outside.
Mr. Treager: OK then. (he opens the window) There you go!
Monica: (climbing back in) Thanks Mr. Treager!
Mr. Treager: Anytime. Bye!
Scene: Central Perk, later on. Rachel and Monica are on the couch and Phoebe is on the chair.
Monica: So what have you got for your box so far Rach?
Rachel: Well, I found a photo of me and Ross, but that's about it.
Phoebe: Well, I got something for you. (she hands Rachel a single of U2's "With Or Without You")
Rachel: Thanks Pheebs. But, are you sure this is gonna work?
Monica: Well if it doesn't we'll just have to try something else.
Scene: The girl's apartment. Rachel is in her room as Ross comes in. He doesn't notice her. Rachel's box is on the table.
Ross: Hello? Is anyone home? (he notices the box)
ROSS'S THOUGHTS: What's this? Rachel's box? What's that doing here? (He looks inside) Hey, how come it's got more stuff in than when she showed it to me? (he picks up the photo and looks at it longingly)
Ross: (softly) Oh Rach, if only you knew how much I still love you.
[Rachel, who has heard him, starts to cry softly. Ross hears her]
Ross: Rach? (he goes into her room) What's the matter?
Rachel: (sobbing) Ross!
Ross: (sitting on the bed and hugging her) Rach?
Rachel: Ross, I need to tell you something.
Ross: Yeah?
Rachel: (takes a deep breath) I'm still in love with you.
Ross: Yeah, well y'know what? I love you too.
Rachel: Oh Ross...
[He puts a finger to her lips and looks deeply into her eyes. And they kiss. And after that they...you know]

Scene: Central Perk. Monica, Chandler, Phoebe and Joey are there as Ross and Rachel enter holding hands.
Ross: Hi guys!
All: Hi!
Monica: (noticing them holding hands) Oh my god! Are you-?
Rachel: Yeah. (she and Ross kiss and sit down on the couch, Rachel on Ross's lap. Gunther sees them, then goes onto the kitchen)
Gunther: (from kitchen) NOOOOOOOOO!
Phoebe: (looking at Rachel's hand) Rach, what's that on your finger?
Rachel: (looking at Ross) It's an engagement ring.
Monica: What?! You're getting married?
Ross: Yeah, well, we thought y'know, what with the baby and all.
All: Wow! Congratulations! etc. (they say this kind of thing a lot in my fanfics)
Rachel: Oh, and also, I'm moving in with Ross.
Monica: What? You're leaving me alone?
Rachel: Well he can't move into our apartment!
Monica: I'll get lonely!
Ross: Well, why doesn't Chandler move in with you?
Chandler: Yeah, I could!
Monica: (cheered up) OK!
Joey: Hey hey hey, what about me?
Rachel: Just get a new roommate.
Joey: I don't want some stranger living with me! Remember Eddie?
Rachel: Good point.
Phoebe: Hey, I could move in with you!
Joey: Really? Would you?
Phoebe: Yeah, well since my grandma died I don't really like living in her apartment. She hasn't come back to visit me yet.
Monica: OK then, that's sorted.
